What is MES?
An MES forms the link between production and business operations. It supports operators during production, collects data from machines and processes, and makes this information available for reporting, planning, and further optimization. While ERP focuses on business processes and SCADA on machine control, an MES focuses on daily operations on the shop floor.

Ignition as open MES platform
AT-Automation realises MES-solutions based on Ignition van Inductive Automation. Thanks to the open architecture, Ignition can easily be connected to PLC’s, ERP systems, databases and other industrial software.
Depending on the desired functionality, we use different solutions. This can include, among other things, the MES modules of Sepasoft, standard Ignition functionality and our own developed frameworks are used. This way, we create a solution that fits the processes and goals of your organization.
